Pecos & The Rooftops delivered a high-energy performance that left the House of Blues crowd buzzing long after the final chord was struck. But before they took the stage, the night kicked off with a great set from up-and-coming artist Riley Thomas.
With his debut EP set to drop the very next day, Thomas treated the audience to a sneak peek of what’s to come. His new songs were met with enthusiastic cheers, as his rich vocals and heartfelt lyrics struck a chord with the crowd. What really stood out, though, was the incredible rapport he had with the audience. Egged on by fans, Thomas found himself doing shots between songs, laughing and joking as if he were hanging out with old friends. It was clear that Thomas is not only a talented musician but also a born entertainer, and by the end of his set, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand.
Pecos & The Rooftops hit the stage next, and the energy in the room was electric. The band’s signature blend of country rock had everyone on their feet, singing along to every word. Midway through the set, they invited Riley Thomas back on stage for a cover of Hank Williams Jr.’s "Family Tradition," turning the House of Blues into one giant sing-along. The camaraderie between the two acts was palpable, and the crowd’s enthusiasm reached a fever pitch.
However, the night wasn’t without its drama. At one point, a scuffle broke out in the audience, causing a brief pause in the music. In an unexpected move, the members of Pecos & The Rooftops came off the stage to help diffuse the situation. Their intervention was swift and effective, earning them even more respect from the crowd. Once everything was settled, the band jumped back into the set, never missing a beat.

From Riley Thomas’s infectious charm to the band’s dynamic performance—and even their impromptu peacekeeping efforts—this was a concert that won’t soon be forgotten. If last night was any indication, both acts are on a fast track to becoming country rock’s next big names.
