Pond at The Observatory
Australian psychedelic rock, pop band Pond was formed in 2008
with their debut album "Psychedelic Mango" dropping in January 2009.
Later that same year album number two "Corridors of Blissterday"
was released. And the list goes on as the band has released nine
studio albums and one live album.
Pond is one of those preeminent bands that deliver an exemplary
live performance, exactly as if they were in the studio. The group
always pulls you in, and keeps you enthralled with their electrifying
sound. Pond's creativity and resourcefulness enables each and every
member to bring about a positive wave of exhilaration.
This again was evident at their concert in San Diego. Almost
immediately led singer Nicholas Allbrook was dancing and
prancing across the stage., Within the first 10 minutes Allbrook
jumped up on the pit barricade to be with the audience.
"Daisy" was the opener and immediately embraced by the
everyone. This continued throughout the evening. The
chemistry was real and there for longtime fans as well as
first timers. Yet again this diverse, creative, inventive
band is in a class all their own.
