Moving right along, and on time at 8:50 p.m. the NKOTB opened up their set of the Magic Summer Tour with their opening tune "MAGIC". From that moment on you knew they still had the "Right Stuff", a slice of exciting and comforting nostalgia. This was a super high energy show filled with flashing colorful lights, lasers (maybe a tad too much flashing for some), but I loved the confetti! The graphics were outstanding and very colorful. All their songs brought back treasured memories of a more carefree time.

The real meat of the concert was how good they sounded, their interaction with the audience, and mass appeal. It was amazing how the NKOTB maintained such intense choreography while singing just as good as back in the 1990's. The band put their heart and soul into the performance. There were so many colorful Blockheads who had a blast at this show. It was a night to relive those quintessential moments under the stars!

Straight Up, Opposites Attract, Forever Your Girl, Cold Hearted and Rush Rush are just a few of Paula Abdul's number one hits from in 1988 into the early 1990's. The one-time choreographer for the Laker Girls has kept active beyond the music scene such being a judge on the early days of American Idol to The Masked Dancer and the X Factor.
You might think that time has stood still for Abdul. She glided across the stage singing and dancing. She had a wonderful presence this evening. Her moves where fluid, precise and her dynamic style was graceful. Paula's chemistry with her talented dancers and the fans is undeniable. Her set was a good one, especially for a 62-year-old dancer!

Opening the show and getting the fans moving along was DJ Jazzy Jeff. He was one of the scratch Innovators popularizing the transformer scratch technique. He also played Will Smith's best friend on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and the duo of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince of which they won a Grammy in 1989 for the first-ever rap single "Parents Just Don't Understand".
