It is the bands six album and the newest in five years.

After several rescheduled tour dates due to the pandemic The Airborne Toxic Event finally returned to San Diego. 

The band's loyal fans were euphoric singing along with every tune. Front man Mikel Jollett and the rest of the band are true professionals, talented and humble. It is exhilarating to hear The Airborne Toxic Event (now together for 16 years) evolve with each album and tour. Their style is like no other, personal, thoughtful, deep, moody, intense and electrifying. Even when singing a slow song there was never a lull. 

All and all the best concert of the year! Everything jelled, crazy cool lighting, striking and dramatic as always, perfect sound balance, stellar songs, and the connection with their fans. All of the members are exceptional artists, including the 2019 addition of violinist Miriam "Mimi" Peschet who stepped in after Anna Bulbrook left to pursue her own personal projects.

 To say this was a triumphant return would be an understatement. 

This was a night of exceptional music, a concert not to be missed.
