"Martina and I have seen so much life, made new friends and heard so many stories from all the time we've spent in bars all across the nation playing music. I think that is really what this EP is about. It is the life events we've witnessed or experienced under the neon lights,” shared Joe Costa. “The heartbreak (Hangover) to getting over the heartbreak (Rhinestoned) to finding that one who is perfect for you (Easy To Love) and expressing that love/affection (Brighter Than Neon)."

"I don't think I have ever been more proud of the singer-songwriters we have become over the last decade,” expressed Martina Costa. “When the journey becomes hard, we don't quit and these four songs show that."

“It was a blast working on this EP with Joe & Martina,” reflects Co-Producer - Ben Watts “To me, it perfectly reflects their growth and years of honing ‘their sound’ With genuine, well-crafted songwriting and production elements that pay homage to the past while keeping a firm foothold in the present. I hope country fans love this as much as I do!”

Once shows stopped in 2020 Joe & Martina had to find a way to keep being creative and decided it would be a good time to record some new music. This collection of songs is a perfect representation of what they have experienced as people and the growth they have shared as artists. It still has true country roots that people know and expect from their music. The couple went outside the box and experimented more with sounds than ever before. This project is a perfect marriage of today's music and the classic country sounds the couple grew up on.

    About Joe & Martina:
Johnny and June. George and Tammy. Waylon and Jessi. Garth and Trisha. Like the Country music royalty before them, Joe & Martina possess a mutual respect for their craft and the love held for each other is evident whether on or off the stage. Their music unfolds as communicative storytelling through complementary harmonies; It’s a sonic love story unveiled with Bakersfield edge, a touch of modern influence, and the elusive guitar solo. As independent artists, Joe & Martina continuously flex their creative muscles while remaining faithful to their roots and releasing undeniably “Country” material. Songs such as “Hometown Summer Nights,” “Middle of Nowhere, USA,” and “I’ve Been Around” have garnered the married duo numerous accolades including a spotlight by
Billboard as an ”Artist to Watch”, an official stage performance at CMA Fest, and allowed the couple to grace the cover of Horse & Agriculture Magazine. Despite a global pandemic resulting in the near halt of the entertainment industry, 2020 earmarked Joe & Martina’s biggest year yet. They appropriately changed their artist name from “Terra Bella” to “Joe & Martina,” authentically marketing themselves just as they are—Country music’s next legendary powerhouse couple—and released Top 30 hit “Give Me Back the 90’s” featuring their GRAMMY-winning idol, John Berry. The single peaked at No. 28 on Music Row’s Country Breakout Chart and the duo was the only unsigned act in the Top 30 for a number of weeks as their colorful, nostalgia-filled music video premiered via Billboard.com—another major milestone for a complete DIY act. Joe, who was the original bass player for the now multi-platinum artist Luke Combs, quickly elevated his lyrical credibility as a songwriter having co-written “Don’t Tempt Me” off of Comb’s This One’s For You and has since been recognized as a producer for not only Joe & Martina material, but rising singer-songwriters such as Allie Colleen, Dustin Huff, and social media sensation Taylor Ray Holbrook. To boot, Martina’s emotionally-charged vocal delivery and exuberant stage presence continues to captivate audiences across the country. Together for over a decade, Joe & Martina secure their position on show-bills alongside Jake Owen, Blake Shelton, Jon Pardi, Lee Brice, Montgomery Gentry, and more. As Terra Bella, Joe and Martina were introduced to esteemed producer/guitarist, Johnny Garcia, who began to coach and produce their material in between tour legs with Garth Brooks. In 2016, the debut EP Road To Forever came to fruition and scored the duo's first Billboard Indicator (#51) and Music Row (#42) charting song with the single "You've Got That Somethin'." Originally from California's Central Valley, Joe & Martina’s agricultural upbringing prepared them for the intense routine and dedication that’s necessary for establishing a career in the entertainment business. As individuals, Joe was active on his family farm harvesting crops and raising livestock, while Martina was a practicing equestrian and rodeo queen. The two were introduced through their musical passion and soon after, the evolution of their creative endeavors blossomed simultaneously with their love for each other. The couple married in January 2012 before moving 2,200 miles east to “Music City, USA” to further pursue their artistry.
