A look at our milestone anniversary with fan stories and memories

On September 2, 1995 we opened to the public for the first time ever and in the years following we've welcomed over 13 million visitors. A few weeks ago, we asked you to submit pictures and stories from the opening celebration through years of special exhibits, live music events and more.

Now you can read fan memories and look at archival submissions we've collected to celebrate the first 25 years of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

1995 Concert for the Rock Hall tune in

It was a star-studded concert that followed our ribbon cutting ceremony on September 1, 1995 and is still widely regarded as one of rock's best nights in Cleveland.

With unforgettable moments including Chuck Berry stealing the spotlight on "Johnny B. Goode" with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Sheryl Crow and the Allman Brothers performing "Midnight Rider" and more, the nearly three hour broadcast is on our YouTube channel.

We'll be diving into the show and sharing individual performances this week to keep the party going, but you can watch the uncut broadcast now.
