Filling in for an Inductee you admire is no easy task, but sometimes it produces exhilarating moments on the Induction Ceremony stage. This week we've looked at special tributes and stand-in moments from artists honoring Inductees on the Rock Hall stage.

Newly released highlights include The Killers performing "American Girl" to remember Petty, Inductee David Byrne of Talking Heads and Kimbra performing "Fame" in honor of David Bowie and a return to "A Letter to John," the touching Paul McCartney tribute made in honor of John Lennon's solo Induction in 1994.

Musical Influences Playlist: The Accidentals

The Accidentals are a genre-melding, female-fronted power trio. Band members Katie Larson, Savannah Buist, and Michael Dause each contributed five songs that influenced their musical style.

The music in this playlist ranges from rock and classical to indie and folk, and it shows how the band blends a wide variety of styles in their music. During the summer of 2018 the band sat down with the Rock Hall to talk about how these songs inspired them.
