Matthew Logan Vasquez is a serious, interestingly fun artist whose delivery is intense, thoughtful and to the point.
He is a versatile performer who easily connects with the audience as he did on this night. The venue, Soda Bar is an intimate setting up close and in your face and he made the most of it. It takes a special talent to pull off this feat, with driving style and vibrancy. Vasquez makes the mix of rock, soulful Americana and R & B gel together perfectly.
As the co-founder of Delta Spirit he was influenced by some of the greats in music - Loud Reed, Gram Parsons, Pink Floyd, Neil Young and Kurt Cobain.
