The Aces at The House of Blues
The House of Blues in San Diego
February 16, 2019
Supported by Jane
The Aces roared into the House of Blues in San Diego, Ca. fresh from their previous February 15th sold-out concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim, Ca. With all the cheering, clapping and jumping (as a member of the audience said) you would have thought the Beatles were on stage. The frenzy continued throughout the whole evening. The band was dancing around in a state of nirvana , with frontwoman Cristal, at times near the edge of the stage and the crowd loving every minute of it. No wonder their shows have been quickly selling out.
The Provo, Utah all-female band who records with Red Bull Records includes sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez, Katie Henderson and McKenna Petty. This is their first headlining tour following their 2018 debut LP 'When My Heart Felt Volcanic'. The group has been together since they were kids, and it shows. They jell together with their musicianship and singing.
Catch them while you can as this seems to be the Aces' year to climb to the top of the indie-pop heap.
