Bandleader James Alex of Beach Slang has made a  deeply moving  assemblage of some alternate reality renditions of his band  Beach Slangs tunes.

 Alex of  Beach Slang will be touring as Quiet Slang in support of his solo debut full - length project Everything Matters But No One Is Listening.  The acoustic playlist is an interesting departure featuring previous variations of  Beach Slang songs.

Everything Matters But No One Is Listening made it's way out 5/18/18 on Polyvinyl. His first EP, We Were Babies & We Were Dirtbags was available on 10/14/17 which included vocals, cello, and piano.

This departure is a somewhat profound as it peels away from the outer edge to the core of what James Alex might be feeling, tender, soft yet unclear, almost a dream state like of confusion.
