Reposting due to a website error. Did not want anyone to miss this.
March 5th and 6th, 2017
Chase Rice in action at The House of Blues for a 2-night stint. It was a packed both times for the Asheville, North Carolina native who was born in Florida.
His successful EP Ready Set Roll was released in the fall of 2013. The country singer-songwriter fan favorite also co-wrote the Florida Georgia Line single "Cruise". Rice was among many things a linebacker for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill football team. His career in the sport ended due to an injury. Continuing on Chase Rice then joined the Ryan Newman's Nationwide Series, plus a time with the Jimmie Johnson's Sprint Cup Series. He was a rear carrier in the pit crew.
He was one of the final three on the CBS hugely popular Survivor: Nicaragua. During the reunion show, he played his single "Buzz Back". Rice was quoted as saying that Survivor was an important life event that was more valuable than money and that put his life in perspective. The love of music took over in college when he learned to play guitar and sing. It has continued in full force ever since.
